Baela Rose is a fine dining restaurant and bar in Omaha's Dundee neighborhood, founded by Chef Kyle Anderson in 2016 — named after his firstborn daughter, born the same year the restaurant opened. The concept was straightforward but rare: bring the craft and care of high-end dining to a price point that didn't require a special occasion to justify. Seasonal ingredients, beautifully plated, on a random Tuesday. The brand needed to honor that warmth and intention without feeling casual — elegant enough to signal quality, approachable enough to mean it. The identity was built around a clean black-and-white motif with touches of deep Washington Blue, anchored by a custom mark referencing a rose — a quiet nod to the name and the story behind it. The geometric BR monogram, layered typography pairing serif display with refined script, and the octagonal seal work together to create something that feels established and intimate at once. Deliverables included a full logo package, menus, color palette, typography system, signage, website, and business cards. Tools used include Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Framer.
